Staff Master v0.7.0 is finally Released!  This version contains a massive number of new options in configuration as well as a number of new views/layouts.  Documentation on this new version is in the works and should be released this week.  We've also opened a new Forum section so feel free to ask any questions there as well.  For a list of some of the changes, please see a previous post.

For anyone Updating from the previous version:

As of now, the new version of Staff Master will "update" your current version to the new version.  IF you are updating in a live, production environment, please make a backup of your database first!  While we have tested installing Staff Master v0.7.0 on top of a previously installed Staff Master 0.6.5 with no issues, there are a large number of database/Joomla version permutations that we can not test for.  Once you install the new version, go to your Staff Master control panel ( simply click on Staff Master from the Components menu in Joomla ) and you will see an "Update Database" button.  Click the button, it updates the proper database fields, ports your old data over into those new fields, then gets rid of the unused fields, and everything should be happy. While updating does over-write all of the files that were in your directories, any old files that are no longer used will remain in your directories.  For those that like to keep things tidy, you can delete those files as they're no longer needed.
