Staff Master v1.0 Release Candidate 1

 The biggest changes to be aware of with this release: 

  • Rounded Corners Javascript has been removed due to compatibility issues
  • jQuery has been removed from the front end due to complications with Joomla's forced MooTools loading
    • MooTools implementation of View Details slider 
  • A new Page model has been implemented to help facilitate easier Views
  • Joomla's Email.Cloak library used to hide Contact Details Email Addresses
Updating from a previous version?  Make a backup of your database first!  In our testing, Staff Master updates seamlessly from previous versions.  After running Joomla Component Upload/Install screen, go to Staff Master's main control panel screen and you should see an Update DB icon.  Clicking this should save any data in any field that we've changed.  There were only a few.

Some other notes:

 

  •  Configuration was re-organized and several new options were added 
  • Import Users Icon will now allow you to import the Name and Email Address from Joomla's User list.  When finally released, v1.0 final should have an Import From Community Builder option as well.
